Hey, welcome to The Daily Interview! I’m so excited to have you here. Me

I’m Eric Gati — a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) by day, and blogger/freelance writer by night. I’ve been blogging for nearly four years, which feels like an eternity in internet years. I believe they’re longer than dog years.

Throughout my journey to create an income online (which I document at My 4-Hour Workweek), I’ve met and followed many great internet entrepreneurs. There are so many who have a wealth of knowledge to share, and it’s incredibly inspiring to see even a small glimpse into their worlds.

That’s why I started The Daily Interview. I wanted to tap into the wisdom and success of bloggers and other internet entrepreneurs, and capture them in one place. Because I personally love reading interviews, I’ve made it a goal to publish them daily (Monday-Thursday).

In fact, if you’d like to receive a weekly digest of the previous week’s interviews by e-mail, you can sign up for free below. (Don’t worry, we will only send you content that is related to The Daily Interview.)

Interviews have been around forever, but media has evolved. Today, you’ll find that most interviews are either audio (podcasts) or video-based. Rightly so — they are amazing platforms to conduct and consume interviews.

Call me old school, but I still like to consume most content in text form. While I may eventually incorporate audio and video into The Daily Interview, I wanted to get back to basics and offer a platform where YOU can regularly consume insightful interviews in a text format. I’m always looking to save time, and I’ve found that in the 5-10 minutes it takes to read a text-based interview, you can extract the same valuable wisdom and advice offered by 30 minute podcast or video interview.

So sit back, relax, and take in all the wonderful knowledge offered by the many bloggers and internet entrepreneurs featured here at The Daily Interview.

  1. Hi Eric,

Great idea to help everyone see what others are doing to improve their site and generate more income.
Looking forward to reading some new tips and advice from people who really know the business.

I think every little bit of advice is worth reading about.

good luck with the new site

  2. Love the idea for this site!

I like podcasts but never have the time to listen to them, so this site will be a welcome addition to the similar projects out there.

Looking forward to seeing who you are interviewing in the coming weeks and months.

  3. Eric, nice site.
Great to listen real successful entrepreneurs. Question, how do you verify/define your interviewee being “successful”?

    • Thanks Gavin, I appreciate it. I have a pretty loose definition of “successful,” because I think that even people who have only achieved a moderate level of success still have lessons to teach and value to offer.

I do usually like to see some kind of metric that reflects a level of success so that I’m not only interviewing people who JUST started out with an online business. For example, I’m interested in anyone who makes a “full time” income online, or even has a side project that generates a considerable amount of income. There’s no specific amount that I look for, however.

Above everything else, I like to talk to people who have interesting/inspiring stories – it isn’t all about the money (although money is probably one of the key indicators of success for most businesses).

  4. Thank you so much for sharing very useful information, that is amazing post
